About Wizzmer

First migrated to the US in 2015, bringing with him his electric cuatro, $200 dollars, and an incomparable intuition.
His perspective and drive have been the key components to his success.
After a few difficult transitions, a few moments of adversity, and a relentless hunger to create something of essence, he has developed concepts with such level of authenticity, that they could easily be classified as avant-garde.
He currently leads one of the most important musical projects in Miami:Los Wizzards.A funk band that was born as a result of Wizzmers`s first project in the city. An Open Mic that took place at a well known coffee shop called Macondo.
Soon after the culmination of that open mic, Los Wizzards began to play their music all over the city.
The activation of many different spaces around Miami resulted in them becoming the official band for the NBA team, The Miami Heat.

El Jam

Wizzmer saw this quarantine as an opportunity for reinvention.
Bringing the open mic concept in front of cameras, allowed for job opportunities for the musicians and the audio and visual technicians of the community.
That´s how´s the digitizing of this idea was born and transformed into “El Jam”
“El Jam” created a safe and enternaining alternative for those at home , an aoportunity of high quality content for all the guest artists, a beautiful sense of community by receiving the support of local businesses, and of course, the perfect excuse to put together a group of incredibly talented musicians to jam out every week.
Wizzmer´s long term play with “El Jam” is to portray the authenticity, the magic and the unmatched talent, that bring the city of Miami all of its colorful rhythms to life.
